Unincorporated Joint Venture
Melbourne Showgrounds is part of an Unincorporated Joint Venture (UJV), a 50:50 joint venture between Melbourne Royal (the trading name of The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria) and the State Government of Victoria.
Melbourne Royal manages the commercial operations for the venue and in 2019 invested around $10 Million into developing a function and event space named the Victoria Pavilion.
The venue facilities, life cycle works and grounds are maintained by BGIS on behalf of the Unincorporated Joint Venture.
