Hannah oversees the Melbourne Showgrounds team, from sales, event planning, catering and operations.
With experience across complex facilities including; Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne Town Hall and Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Hannah has vast experience in elevating the customer journey whilst working with partners and clients to provide mutually beneficial gains to those working together.
Hannah joined the team in 2019 in the role of Head of Commercial and Partnerships and was promoted to the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria’s (the entity that manages the Melbourne Showgrounds) Executive Team in January 2020.
Nic is a venue management and event professional with more than ten years’ experience working at some of Melbourne’s largest event and exhibition centres. Joining Melbourne Showgrounds in 2016, Nic leads the operations team, overseeing the day-to-day management of Melbourne Showgrounds 19-hectare site and his team are the first point of contact on event day.
Having delivered some of Australia’s largest events including the Royal Melbourne Show, major concerts, trade exhibitions and gala dinners, Nic is highly experienced in event setup, design and delivery.
With a well-rounded educational background that includes a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business, Nic is well regarded for his leadership and delivering positive outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
James is Melbourne Showgrounds Sales Manager and works across the entire suite of events held at the venue.
As a hospitality sales professional with 20+ years working in hotels and venues, James specialises in event sales for large multipurpose venues, having led the functions and event sales team at the MCG for around 10 years.
James seeks to understand clients’ needs and recommends solutions based on their unique event requirements. He is passionate about providing attentive and friendly customer service through the entire event booking process.
Joining the Melbourne Showgrounds team in April 2019, Steph has had experience at many levels of hospitality; servicing front of house food and beverage, hotels and event management before moving into event sales in another major event venue.
Steph dares to be creative, collaborating with clients on event ideas and endless possibilities at Melbourne Showgrounds. She is committed to assisting you in achieving the very best in visitor experience for your event at our venue.
While working across the Melbourne Showgrounds suite of events, Steph has a strong focus on corporate food and beverage events for our incredible 1,200 guest banquet venue, Victoria Pavilion. Events scaling from small intimate gatherings to large scale major events, Steph is committed to assisting you in finding the perfect fit at Melbourne Showgrounds.
Joining us from Melbourne & Olympic Parks with a wealth of corporate event knowledge and five years of experience, Brooke joins the Major Events and Venue Services team as our Events Coordinator at Melbourne Showgrounds.
Passionate about her job and the Events Industry, Brooke strives to ensure that the client is at the heart of everything she does. Working alongside the venue and growth team, Brooke will ensure your event is looked after from start to finish and delivered to the highest of standards.
