    Sales Manager

    James is Melbourne Showgrounds Sales Manager and works across the entire suite of events held at the venue.

    As a hospitality sales professional with 20+ years working in hotels and venues, James specialises in event sales for large multipurpose venues, having led the functions and event sales team at the MCG for around 10 years.

    James seeks to understand clients’ needs and recommends solutions based on their unique event requirements. He is passionate about providing attentive and friendly customer service through the entire event booking process.

    Client Services & Operations Manager

    Nicole Von Pein draws on years of event and marketing experience to assist clients with the delivery of their events. Deadline-driven and highly organised, Nicole’s knowledge of Melbourne Showgrounds facilities is impeccable, having worked in a number of positions within the organisation. Nicole approaches each event with a high level of dedication to ensure all needs of the client are not only met, but exceeded.

    Venue & Operations Manger

    Specialising in major event project planning, Ross has a passion for delivering successful and safe events. With experience delivering high profile iconic major events both locally and internationally, Ross has built a skillset in aligning both organisational and event strategic objectives. Building on his substantial industry experience in areas including infrastructure management, facilities management, security and emergency management and project cost management, Ross’ primary responsibilities and focus centre around facilitating the successful delivery of the annual Royal Melbourne Show and maintaining it’s standing as Melbourne’s most iconic major event. Ross will also focus on the delivery of other major events and activations at Melbourne Showgrounds.

    Occupational Health & Safety Manager

    Glenn’s passion is making sure everyone who comes to work, goes home in a safe and healthy way. With over 10 years’ experience in occupational health and safety in various industries including mining and construction, and most recently at Zoos Victoria, Glenn is working with the operations and events teams to help provide safe and fun events for everyone. Glenn is open, engaging and ready to discuss the best way to ensure you are set up for a safe and successful event at Melbourne Showgrounds.

    Events Coordinator

    Joining us from Melbourne & Olympic Parks with a wealth of corporate event knowledge and five years of experience, Brooke joins the Major Events and Venue Services team as our Events Coordinator at Melbourne Showgrounds. Passionate about her job and the Events Industry, Brooke strives to ensure that the client is at the heart of everything she does. Working alongside Nicole and the operations team, Brooke will ensure your event is looked after from start to finish and delivered to the highest of standards.
