Melbourne Showgrounds once again proved to be a practical and versatile venue for major trade events, hosting the 2025 Bunnings Trade Expo on Thursday 19 June.
With more than 140 leading suppliers, thousands of visitors, and a full day of demonstrations, deals and industry insights, the event was a standout on the trade calendar – and a strong example of what the Showgrounds is built to deliver.
A practical fit for the trades
With its large, adaptable spaces and easy access for bump-in and bump-out, Melbourne Showgrounds was well suited to an event of this scale.
More than 140 suppliers set up across the venue, showcasing the latest in tools, building products and trade technology.
Exhibitors made good use of the venue’s layout to create engaging, informative displays and demonstrations throughout the day.
Bunnings Trade Expo also gave attendees the chance to access one-day-only deals, talk directly with suppliers, and learn about new trends and products shaping the industry – all in one space.
While tools and trade were the main focus, the expo also opened the door to meaningful conversations about wellbeing in the industry.
Organisations like TradeMutt and TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter) were on site, raising awareness about mental health and the support available to tradies.
