Each spring, Melbourne Showgrounds transforms into a vibrant celebration of Victorian life — and in 2025, the Melbourne Royal Show once again brought the venue to life on a grand scale.
Across 11 unforgettable days, the Showgrounds welcomed more than 400,000 visitors, with the biggest crowd — over 50,000 people — joining the fun on Saturday 4 October.
Every corner of the Melbourne Showgrounds buzzed with energy as visitors explored thousands of animals, enjoyed farm experiences, sampled local produce, and took in live entertainment, carnival rides and nightly fireworks.

-
Over 6,000 animals onsite, from bulls, horses and alpacas to chickens, sheep and puppies.

More than 2,200 Melbourne Royal Blue Ribbons awarded to the best of the best.

5,000 people working onsite each day to bring the event to life.
-
1,300 volunteers supporting planning and delivery — from judges and stewards to customer service teams.
