The carnival for carnivores returns to Melbourne for round three.

Featuring some of Australia’s very best barbecue food vendors cooking on the nation's biggest smokers with live barbecue demonstrations, bands on stage, eating competitions, plus barbecue, butcher and barber competitions.

Onsite parking is available for $15 per day. Entry is via Gate 7 Leonards Crescent.

Arriving by Bus

Bus No. 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops along Langs Road and Epsom Road.

Bus No. 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops on the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads.

Arriving by Tram

Tram No. 57 (Elizabeth Street City, to West Maribyrnong) stops at Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre (stop 32) on Epsom Road, a short 3 minute walk from Gate 1 of Melbourne Showgrounds.

Arriving by Train

Metro trains will service Showgrounds train station for the duration this event.

Trains will depart Southern Cross Station:

Saturday 23 March
Every 30 minutes between 10:45am until 21:30pm

Sunday 24 March
Every 30 minutes between 9
:45am to 6:30pm

Travel time is approximately 15 minutes.
