COMMUNITY BULLETIN

The team at Melbourne Showgrounds acknowledges the important role that the surrounding community has in helping us deliver successful events throughout the year.

We have some important information to share with you regarding the upcoming Elrow Triangulo de las Rowmudas music tour taking place at Melbourne Showgrounds on Saturday 1 February 2020 from 2pm to 10pm. The event features one indoor stage within Building 4, boasting dancefloor theatrics and a carnival atmosphere. The expected attendance is around 3,000 patrons.

Sound levels
Sound levels will be monitored by an accredited acoustic engineer to ensure sound meets the SEPP N2 guidelines. We advise that the EPA regulations do mean music from the site will be audible; however, you should be able to hold normal conversations without being affected. In addition to the main event, sound checks will be made throughout the event day and during the day prior.

Traffic and transport
Attendees are being encouraged to use public transport to access these events.
Minor traffic delays are likely to occur from 10:00pm-10:30pm and those driving through the area during these periods are encouraged to allow extra travel time where possible.

Parking in the events area
Events area parking restrictions will apply on Saturday 1 February. Residents in the events area are reminded to place their permits or temporary parking vouchers on their cars.
Parking enforcement officers will patrol the events area during this event. Please contact Moonee Valley City Council on 9243 8888 to report any parking issues. Officers will investigate complaints and issue infringements where required.

Parking in the events area
Event day parking, accessible car parking and the Rideshare drop off and pick up zone will be available on site at Melbourne Showgrounds, via Gate 2 on Langs Road.

Community Hotline
The community hotline will be operating from 1.30pm until 10.30pm on Saturday 1 February to take calls from residents and businesses on any matter/concern relating to local amenity (waste, traffic, parking, and noise) issues.
