Meatstock Just Got Meatier

Discover the perfect event space here

Sydney’s home-grown music and meat festival ‘Meatstock’ have raised the BBQ stakes and beefed up the event by adding Melbourne to the calendar for 2017.

Following the phenomenally successful sold out Sydney two-day event earlier this year, Meatstock is proud to be spreading its basted barbecued wings to Auckland (February), Melbourne (April) and Sydney (May) in 2017 with Melbourne Showgrounds the selected venue for the Victorian event.

Meatstock Co-Founder, Simon Luke said, “We can’t wait to bring the Meatstock magic to Melbourne and Auckland in 2017. We will stick to the same sizzling event recipe and provide an awesome line-up of Blues and Country bands at each location. Punters can enjoy their favourite cuts of meat along with a side serving of great music – they’ll be plenty to digest!”

The pro-protein festival is filled with flavour; featuring bands and barbecues, beards and barbers, butchers, bourbon and plenty of beer. The flaming hot two day line-up includes competitions such as the ‘Barbeque, Butcher and Barber Wars’, as well as demonstrations and workshops. The event is garnished with a backdrop of live bands, BBQ inspired food trucks and craft beer.
