The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) understands the impact of COVID-19 is a concern for upcoming events and may have a significant impact on the events industry.
The health and safety of all clients, visitors and employees is a priority for the RASV.
At 3:00pm Friday 13 March, the Australian Government advised against all non-essential mass gatherings of more than 500 people from Monday 16 March.
We continue to monitor the situation with the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) daily and the advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health. Please view up to date advice here.
We recognise however that the status of COVID-19 is changing daily and even hourly.
All state and territory governments are providing updates and we encourage clients to ensure they are checking for state-based updates.
In the interest of public safety, the following following precautionary measures have been implemented throughout the venue:
We will continue to monitor the situation and are working with clients on events that are immediately upcoming.
Please contact the RASV or Melbourne Showgrounds teams if you have any concerns
Many thanks,
