FOMO Festival 2020 is set to take place at Melbourne Showgrounds on Sunday 12 January from 12 midday –
10pm. FOMO Festival is a one day, one stage, all-inclusive entertainment experience.
Sound levels will be monitored by an accredited acoustic engineer to ensure sound meets the SEPP N2
guidelines. We advise that the EPA regulations do mean music from the site will be audible; however, you
should be able to hold normal conversations without being affected.
A directional sound system and sound walls will be used to minimise the emission of sound to residential areas.
In addition to the main event, sound checks will be made throughout the event day and during the day prior.
Traffic and transport
Attendees are being encouraged to use public transport to access these events. Trains will be running direct to
Melbourne Showgrounds station. Traffic delays are likely and those driving through the area during these

festival, both traffic controllers and variable message boards will be used. We expect traffic disruptions will
occur on Sunday 12 January between the hours of 11:00am and 4:00pm and from 8:00pm until 11:00pm.
